No1 Smithery was a major new addition to the
Historic Dockyard, Chatham.
In renovating the original Smithery building alongside architects Van Heyningen and Haward architects, we created the largest collection of ship models in existence with a series of new museum galleries to display and interpret key items within the collection.
The exhibition content marries intricate object display with interactive digital media and graphic communication to bring to life the history behind these precious artefacts.
